The sweetest memories...
It's one of those instances when you say "I would give anything to relive those times"... :)
As some of you may know, I went to Xiamen, China last year for the World Choir Games. Being a "sucka" for choral singing...I enjoyed myself so sooooo much there...Just being able to sing at the world stage, being able to listen to truly world-class choirs... although my choir didn't win anything... It was like a "I died and went to heaven" kinda experience when for I indulged in those beautiful harmonies and crazy choral singing...It's then you realise that choral singing is soooo not the stereotyped singing in a church kinda thing...
I was talking to a fellow friend who went on the trip with me... the nostalgia alone can leave you on bended knees...begging to give anything...ANYTHING...just to experience it all over again... truly one of the highlights of my entire life(up to now of course)...
Let me leave you with some of the video I found of the choirs... ENJOY!.. I sure did...
This is the Victoria Junior College from Singapore...they are all just students around the age of 17/18...They were the champions in their categoty(Mixed Choir Category)...puts every Malaysian choir to shame...
And this is the Uni of Philippines MedChoir..they got the 2nd/3rd placing in the Mixed Chamber Choir category...
