deja vu!!!... :-)

After a few nights of bad dreams, nail-bitting suspense, hair-pulling frustration, anxiety and anticipation all put together, I FINALLY received my S.A.M results this afternoon...

i had an adrenaline rush while i drove from my workplace in Church St. to Disted. That's because before this, the few who already took their results were getting something between the range of 70-80.. I mean, OBVIOUSLY anyone would feel panicky!!! When i was finally in front of the Exams Section in college, with Aaron Liew(who's always there when it comes to exams and results..hehe..kiasu.. ;-) thank God for you man) i almost had a panic attack...i mean, we're talking about the exam results that i toiled for for the whole of year 2006 and which will determine whether i get to study in a good university and not some kampung university...

When the envolope enclosing my results was in my hands, i sat down at a corner and SLOOOOOOOWLYYYYYY opened the envelope... I first looked at my individual subjest scores(over 20); Accounting:16B, Econs:16B, Legal Studies: 17A, English:19A, Maths:15B....then the more important part came..the Tertiary Entrance Rank(TER)... I got 92.2/100!!!!!!!!.... I was ELATED!!!! i started going berserk and shouting my lungs out!!!...I only expected a TER of between 85-90...

Anyways, I told my dad about it...he wasn't as happy as i was...maybe because it's still not good enough for some Unis(particularly NUS in Singapore )... but I'll be applying anyway, plus some other Australian unis...

So yea...the next step for me would be to apply to the universities of my choice... and hopefully with the same divine intervention, I get to go to a good university.. :-)

I sure miss my days in Disted studying SAM...the great friends there... the fun i had... but time inexplicably pushes you forward... University, HERE I COME!!! :-D
