the girl of my dreams...

yes jud...i'm tagged...
been wanting to update about something of this nature too...so here goes...
to be honest, i have felt pressured about relationships and what not.. that's because a lot of people(not all) around me are either looking for or already in a relationship...it's not that i do not want a relationship, i do... but just not right now...and not at my current level of maturity... i know myself... i do not want to add on another responsibility when i'm not responsible enough for my own emotions and actions.. besides like what jud said..i still have at least 10 yrs before i intend to marry... but anyways..these are some of the aspects i'd consider in a girl..

Concerning Personality:
I look for someone bubbly, never stingy with smiles and laughter(someone who can still make me smile or laugh after 30 years of marriage) but at the same time can be serious when it's demanded.. she has to be mature and rational in her thinking and know what she wants in life... she has to be able to present herself well(not shy), but definitely not blabber on about nonsense...something that attracts me is a girl who's smart and somewhat "motivated"(but not to the extent of crying when she doesn't do well in her exams)...she has to be the greatest encourager in the world to me...she also has to be an optimist and passionate about what she does, she must also be a simple(not the Starbucks, posh shopping at five star boutiques and fine dining)kind of girl...i mean a treat once in awhile is ok, but nothing more..in other words, someone that's not the high maintainence kind...

Concerning Dating Views:
While on dates, the girl must not mind eating out at a kopitiam with me while clad in a simple T-shirt and shorts...haha... i don't really mind if the girl has an ex-boyfriend or two... she will have to get along well with my closest friends and does not get all worked up if one of my closest friends is a girl... oh and she has to understand that dates are not all about having the most romantic candle-lit dinners, but MOST important is to get to know and understand the other person better...

Concerning Looks:
Haha...the most contraversial part... hmm... first of all, she has to LOOK like a girl...haha... uhm... she must not be too crazy about make-up, as in everytime she goes out she must have make-up on...i mean if you already have a naturally pretty and nice-to-look-at face, why would you need make-up so much??..
Long or short hair??? doesn't matter at all...not looking for a SUNSILK girl...
She must know when and how to dress well...
Height wise.. around my height would be good...
I look at the face of a person, not some other parts of the person's body when i'm talking to him/her... so big "fronts" or "behinds" don't really interest me...hehe...
Besides being friendly, she must look the part too, the kind that will not make people say "your gf/wife looks unfriendly"...
Shape wise...moderate... because i'm no mahatma gandhi myself... ;-)

BUT... all in all, the girl of my dreams must be a girl of God too... and at least not be tone deaf??? hehe... yea..anyways, to all those who are pressured about having a relationship, if you're willing to wait for that special someone, that special someone will be waiting for you too... imagine telling your loved one, i've been waiting for you all my life!!!... :-)
