update of my singapore trip- DAY TWO(cont'd)
i woke up at around lunch time, got ready and went down to have my brunch... today i was going to check out NUS and do a lil sight seeing ON MY OWN!!!..i'm so proud of myself for being able to move around singapore without any help...*gloating*..;-)
i took a cab to NUS. and wow...NUS didn't fail my expectations...it's very beautiful in there... and it's very convenient to get around within the uni.. 1st i went to the office of admissions to enquire about getting into NUS, then i took a shuttle bus to the law faculty to enquire about the law program there.. it seems that the law faculty is moving to a new campus somewhere in Bkt Timah...hehe.. so after enquiring about everything i wanted to know, i took a bus and the mrt to Chinatown to do some shopping there...at least the things there were closer to what my budget allowed..hehe..
so after the lil chinatown experience, i acted all tourist-like and went down to the clarke quay@singapore river and the city hall area... pics speak a thousand words right??...so here they are..a thousand words!!!...

home sweet home...
i had a gr8 time at singapore... indulging in the fast-paced and modern lifestyle that this little island nation offered... as much as all of that wow-ed me, i can never sever my roots and love for my home... nothing can ever replace the laid-back lifestyle and the simplicity of life here... it IS true that people here are warmer...hehe..
anyway, i've took home more than nice memories on this trip, but so much more... so after having a short break, it's time to get back to reality..hehe... :)
